I've heard this phrase many times and each time something resonates in my spirit:
"Every great move of God has begun because a group of people have dedicated themselves to worship and prayer."
I'm serious people. Research it. If you look at every great revival or move of God, you will see the same thread. It began because there was a group of people who dedicated themselves to prayer and worship.
God honors the faithful and prayer changes the atmosphere of a city. This combination is an unstoppable force.
It might seem trite to many what we do here at the Base every morning. We pray over the city, we worship and we believe for an outpouring of His spirit.
There is no sound system. No fancy effects. There's not a large crowd, most days just 2-5 people. But there is dedication. There is a love for the Lord. There is a desire to see God's presence.
If we have learned anything, we have learned not to despise or neglect small beginnings. To follow in the steps the Lord has called us and pray in a change in the atmosphere.
We are believing that the spirit of the Lord will invade Belgium. That the veil of darkness will be torn and that the King of Glory will take up His place. That the people will turn to God and realize that, "oh how He loves them." That the fathers and mothers will turn their hearts to their children and the children to their fathers and mothers.
We are believing for a lot, but I have a sneaking suspicion that God is believing for even more.
